I had to post this on the site, these guys can skate! I always try to find videos of a talent skateboarder, but to come across a video like this when they all can go big its hard to come by. This video is definitely a must watch, filmmevideo.

Mike always sends in something fun to watch, some nice tech tricks check it!

Skating always has those falls that you are never ready for, I have had a bunch of them. The worst thing about those falls are they hurt the most. I remember skating this sketchy 3 stair over rail gap when I was like 13, I was getting over the rail no problem but the landing was nothing but sketch! I kept picking up my board and running back to the side walk to try it again. I get enough run way so I start kickin towards the rail, my foot slips under my back wheel off my last kick. I fly forward because my board had a dead stop reaction to my foot, and I flew down the 3 stairs into the rail! I had a bunch of kids spectating so that just made the fall a whole lot worse besides the pain.

Alright, I mean this is getting annoying all this snow coming and going but never enough for it to all clear up. If you snowboard congrats but for someone who just wants to do a quick  skate session Friday after noon that is pretty much a NO go! I used to love the winter time, now its nothing but a hassle when it comes to driving and skating and being cold. I know alot of people are also wondering whats going on with the “Kill The Set” contest,  well I want to apologize for my lack of communication to the other sponsor “Individ Clothing” . I am thankful that he was willing to take the voting aspect into his own hands and help pick up some of my slack. Individ Clothing deserves a lot of recognition for making the contest possible in many ways. So with that said as soon as they pick a winner, I will be sure to post it here and show the winning video.  In other news I am accepting videos again, and I want to make sure the word gets out that there is a website like this that allows skaters a place to showcase themselves or others. I want to start taking this website a bit more serious, and maintain it alot better.  The Skate Rack has been driving high traffic since it was launched and I would hate for something like that to goto waste. So thanks for checking the site out and Start sending in videos.

This is a Magazine that should be mandatory to read, it has all stuff people enjoy in a magazine and if they don’t they shouldn’t read anyway. If you got the Muchies Pick up a copy, because they got a whole section just on good foods to eat in your area. You like music?, learn about all the local bands on the drive to make it big in the industry. Skateboarding Magazine? nope… but they love the sport so they set up a section in the magazine just related about skateboarding which is a great read. The cool thing about the Magazine is they showed up at Ridgefield Skate Park with a camera crew and gave kids a chance to be in a magazine, and if you did something cool that day you made it in the Mag.  

This is not until April, but i figured I’d post it to let you all know so you can mark it on your calendars. I never heard of it before I got this invitation on facebook but it must be pretty fun considering its the 8th annual one they are doing. If you skate and I’m pretty sure you do if your checking out TSR go support the sport and go have some fun.

Some Info on the Event: All are welcome to the 8th annual Skate Jam hosted by Skatelife TV. This event will be held on April 9th, 2011 at Cliffwood Park. The official address is 72 Majorie St. Cliffwood, NJ. This is the early stages of planning so all the sponsors are still being put together and the kinks being worked out. All the events that will be hosted are a Game of SKATE, Best Line and a High Ollie Contest. So come out for a good time, lots of free stuff and some good skating!!

The cold weather and the snow is one of the main reasons I haven’t stepped on a board in over a couple months. I mean its a good thing for all the snow boarders out there, but I don’t go out snowboarding that much so I cant wait until the warm weather rolls in. I have a feeling this summer is going to be one of the hottest, but that wont stop me from doing some sessions on the bench. Its one thing for me not to be skating but not updating the site is pretty lame on my part so I am gonna try and maintain this a lot better.
